Description

Application: 1982-2002 GM F-Body: Camaro & Firebird

The 1982-2002 F-Body Camaro and Firebird chassis design uses torque arm suspension technology, differing them from the rest of the crowd. That is why QA1 has designed these rear shocks specifically for this series of chassis. The GEN–F rear shocks are built to handle it all – from drag and road racing to the rigors of every day use.

Easy Bolt-In Installation

Deflective Disc Valving – Advanced Shock Technology Increased compression valving response, control and consistency.

On-The-Car Valving Adjustment Simply turn the knob at the base of the shock to go from strip to street and even road course handling.

Forged, Machined Aluminum Body Lightweight, stronger than billet.

Bright Anodized Body Unmatched durability, show-winning appearance.

Three Step Sealing System Aerospace material. Exclusively engineered double lip seal with wiper eliminates seal drag and dirt intrusion.

100% Dyno Tested and Serialized Assures consistency in production and performance.

Shock mounting bushing material is exclusive to QA1 shocks for lower mounts. Mounting hardware is chrome plated for durability and professional appearance.

These shocks are revalveable and rebuildable by QA1 Authorized Service Centers.

Double Adjustable: 324 valving options. Allows truly independent adjustment of compression and rebound. 18 positions of compression adjustment on one knob, and 18 positions of rebound adjustment on the other knob. Each knob is clearly labeled with an "R" for rebound or a "C" for compression, as well as plus and minus symbols for ease of adjustment.

Includes lower mounting bolt kit.
