The Mountain Goat Series™ rear bump stop extensions are designed to prevent the over compression of your rear coil springs and prevent the rear tires from rubbing the rear fender flares at full compression, as well as prevent bottoming out the rear shocks.

Rear bump stop extension lengths should match your rear tire size: 2"=33", 3"=35", 4"=37". These rear bump stop extensions bolt on to the existing rear axle housing bump pads and provide 2" of extra limitation for 33" tires. We also have them available in 3" (SKU# JK-RBS-3) and 4" (SKU# JK-RBS-4) lengths for 35" and 37" tire applications. We also have matching front bump stop extensions as well.

The Mountain Goat Series™ rear bump stop extensions are manufactured from CNC laser cut and formed 3/16" steel plate and are precision MIG welded for superior durability. They feature an angled design for proper up travel clearance and to provide proper perpendicular engagement when the rear pinion angle is adjusted for proper driveline angles.

They come powder coated in gloss black for optimum corrosion protection and a brilliant and durable finish. All required mounting hardware (Grade 8) is included.
